The bottom line? Temperatures will continue their warmup with hot temperatures expected Thursday and triple digits into northern Utah. The heat will be short-lived with monsoon moisture making its return by Friday and this weekend across the state which will bring the threat of showers and thunderstorms along with flash flooding.
