Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! Our staff has been working hard to prepare for an amazing year, and we can’t wait to welcome our Wildcats back to Westridge Elementary.
Important Dates
Back-to-School Night
Monday, August 17 | 4:30–6:00 p.m.
Meet your child’s teacher, visit the classroom, and get ready for the new school year.
First Day of School for Grades 1–6
Wednesday, August 19 | 8:40 a.m.–3:20 p.m.
Kindergarten Assessments
August 19–24
Families can sign up during Back-to-School Night.

Wednesday, August 26 | 8:40 a.m.–3:20 p.m.
School Schedule
Monday–Thursday: 8:40 a.m.–3:20 p.m.
Friday: 8:40 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
The first bell rings at 8:35 a.m. Students should meet on the kindergarten or north playground.
Class Assignments
Classrooms are carefully balanced to support the needs of all students. Parent requests submitted by the April deadline and based on specific educational needs were considered in the order received, but not every request could be accommodated. Please review the back-to-school materials for information about accessing class assignments.

If your child will miss school, please contact the office each day they are absent so the absence can be properly excused.

School Meals
Families must submit a new free or reduced-price meal application for the 2026–2027 school year. Students will be charged the full price until an application is approved.

Breakfast: $0.30 reduced | $2.00 full price
Lunch: $0.40 reduced | $2.75 full price
Free and reduced-price benefits apply to the first breakfast and lunch served each day. Additional meals cost $3.00 for breakfast and $5.00 for lunch.
Stay Connected
Beginning the week school starts, families will receive The Weekly Wildcat every Sunday at 6:00 p.m. It will include school news, upcoming events, reminders, and other important information.
