The Hurricane City Council is scheduled to hold a regular meeting on September 3, 2026, according to a notice published September 2. The meeting is set to begin at 6:00 p.m. at the City Council Chambers located at 147 N 870 W in Hurricane.
The agenda for the meeting includes several items of old business. The council will consider the approval of Zone Change Ordinance No. ZC26-11 to rezone two parcels in the Pecan Valley Resort area from Residential Agricultural 0.5 and Agricultural 5 to Recreation Resort. Additionally, the council will consider Ordinance 2026-22, which seeks to amend section 8-6-1 regarding the monthly drainage utility fee.
