While gas prices have been on a steady climb in 2026, auto insurance premiums in Utah have held mostly steady, with some insurance carriers actually lowering their rates. That makes this a good time to shop around for cheaper insurance. A lot of companies are in a good position right now, they are profitable and they want to bring on new clients.
