A key item on the agenda includes a public hearing for Ordinance No. 26-47, which is a petition to amend the Future Land Use Map to Medium Density Residential and Community Commercial. This specific ordinance proposes rezoning 14.07 acres to R-3-8 for multiple-family dwellings of 8 or less units per acre and SC-2 for a community shopping center at approximately 7592 South 5490 West for Highlands Landing North.
Other scheduled public hearings include Resolution No. 26-043 regarding the Community Development Block Grant Budget Adjustment and Subrecipient Allocation for Project Year 2026. Additionally, the council will consider Ordinance No. 26-49, which involves amending the budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027.
