No. 12 Salt Lake (14-1-3) defeated USU-Eastern in a Region 18 Tournament matchup between the one seed and the four seed. The victory allows the top-seeded Bruins to advance to the championship game.
The Bruins scored two goals during the first half. Seanna Harris provided the initial lead by converting a penalty kick after a foul in the box. Shortly after, Oakley Zenger scored in the 26th minute following a pass from Brooklyn Jones that bounced off the turf into her feet.
Goalkeeper Manaka Shindo earned a clean sheet with seven saves. Salt Lake maintained an aggressive presence, recording 10 shots on target.
The 2026 Region 18 Championship is scheduled for October 31st at 11:00 am between Salt Lake and Snow College.
