A portion of state Route 29 in Emery County was closed late Friday after flooding caused the road to collapse. The road is expected to stay closed for at least a week while repairs are underway.
Officials say 100 feet of the eastbound lane of SR-29 is gone after flooding caused a collapse on Friday. It will be closed by midnight for emergency repairs. Utah Department of Transportation officials advised it will be closed for "a minimum of one week for repairs."
