A semi crash on I-80 has blocked eastbound traffic near Parleys Mouth, according to a October 30 statement from UDOT Wasatch Back. The incident occurred at mile marker 128, causing heavy delays for travelers.
While the stretch of I-80 EB from I-215 to I-80 (Parleys) has reopened, I-80 remains closed at mile marker 128 where crews are on the scene. Travelers are advised to expect heavy delays until the scene is clear.
Earlier, access to Parleys Canyon was reported closed from I-80, I-215, and Foothill. UDOT Wasatch Back suggested using I-215 as an alternative route to reach I-80 eastbound.
Additionally, SR-190 Guardsman Pass was scheduled to close at 8 p.m. Alternative routes for that area include I-84 Weber Canyon or US-189 Provo Canyon.
