OREM — The Emery Lady Spartans volleyball team wrapped up its season at the 3A State Tournament, held Oct. 29-30 at Utah Valley University. With 16 teams competing for the state title, Emery entered the tournament as the No. 9 seed and battled its way to an eighth-place finish.
