University of Utah Health has announced the appointment of Vivek K. Reddy, MD, MMM, as its new Chief Health Informatics Officer.
Dr. Reddy's New Appointment
The announcement, released on June 26, 2026, confirms Dr. Reddy will lead health informatics efforts for the organization.

New Health Campus Development
A Purchase and Sale Agreement was signed on June 25, 2026, between University of Utah Health, the State of Utah, and The Point. This agreement covers 45.8 acres intended to establish a future health campus.
Community Health Improvement Strategy
The organization also launched its 2026–2029 Community Health Improvement Strategy, a three-year roadmap created using input from community members across 27 Utah counties.
