The Huntsville Town Planning Commission met on July 23, 2026, at the Huntsville Town Hall to address several items on its agenda, including land use permits and meeting minutes approvals.
During the meeting, the commission reviewed minutes from work sessions held on June 8th, June 25th, and July 9th, 2026. The agenda also included a session for public comment.
Several land use applications were scheduled for discussion and action. These included a recommendation for a Conditional Use Permit for Jim Scheinberg regarding parcel #240110026 at 7355 E 200 S. Additionally, the commission addressed land use permits for the Sorensen Pool at 469 S 7500 E (parcel #240230004), an Osthed new home build and accessory building (parcel #240140053), and a Shannon new home build at 340 S 7700 E (parcel #240190036).
The meeting also included discussions regarding C-1 Mixed Use and updates regarding Sandy’s TC. The session concluded following remarks from the chairman.
