Carbon High School has entered the top 10 in the West Division for the T-Mobile 5G Friday Night Lights competition, according to an October 12 statement from the Carbon School District. The school has already secured a $30,000 grant and is now competing for a $1,000,000 grand prize intended for a stadium upgrade.
The competition offers a chance for a million-dollar transformation of facilities for students and athletes in Price. The Carbon School District is calling on families and community members to vote once every day from October 12 through October 25 to support the school's efforts against competitors from across the West Coast.
The district is encouraging supporters to share the voting link on social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and X using the tags #GoDinos, #CarbonHigh, and #FridayNight5GLights. Every vote from current students, alumni, and local business owners is considered equal in the competition.
