Residents push back against plan to build nuclear reactors in Carbon County
Valar Atomics is looking to build around 70 small nuclear reactors in Carbon County, but some residents are hoping to stop the project before it ever begins. Valar said if they’re allowed to build the reactors, they’ll have businesses then buy that power, bringing factories and jobs to the area.
