Woodland Hills City is inviting residents to review and provide feedback on the draft City General Plan. The plan serves as a long-term policy document designed to guide future growth and development within the city.
The document outlines various goals and recommendations concerning land use, housing, transportation, public facilities, parks, utilities, and the overall quality of life.
While the General Plan does not approve specific projects or change zoning, it functions as a roadmap to assist city leaders in making informed decisions for the community over the coming years.
City officials noted that community input is an important part of this process. The city stated that resident ideas, concerns, and perspectives help ensure the plan reflects the values and priorities of those living and working in Woodland Hills.
Residents are encouraged to review the draft plan and submit comments or suggestions. Comments may be submitted via email to Planning Commission Chair Wayne Frandsen at waynef@woodlandhills-ut.gov.
Additional opportunities for public comment will be available, including a public hearing scheduled for June 17th, 2026.
