Scoring for the Scots included a 5-yard touchdown run by fullback Anderson Curry, two touchdowns from junior Ryker Rice, a 15-yard run by sophomore Kael Thompson, and touchdown receptions by Nash Bockwoldt and Blake Weston. Jack Thompson also caught a 7-yard touchdown pass from Rector in the first quarter.
Ben Lomond's scoring offense was held scoreless, but junior Kos Crowther contributed a 70-yard fumble return for a touchdown in the second quarter. Despite the loss, Ben Lomond senior running back Dashawn Gordon noted that playing football has helped him become a tougher person and a better man.
Ogden's defense maintained a shutout, aided by a first-half turnover from senior defensive tackle Phineas Owens, who recovered a fumble from Ben Lomond quarterback Keenan Hayman. The Tigers' defense prevented the Scots from recording a touchdown, leaving Ben Lomond with a ninth regular-season loss. The game saw Ogden utilize its scout team to manage the scoreboard once a 56-0 lead was established before halftime.
With this win, Ogden improves to a 6-4 record (3-2 in 3A-North) and holds an all-time 56-23 record in the Iron Horse series. The victory marks the second winning regular season for head coach Terry Larsen. Ben Lomond enters the postseason under head coach Ty Smith, who joined the program in 2025.
