EF Adventures and Backcountry are partnering to offer four new multi-adventure hiking tours starting in 2027, according to a report published October 23. The curated collection will span three continents, including destinations in the American Southwest, Norway, Italy, and Patagonia.
The new tours range from 7 to 14 days in length, with prices for land-only packages ranging from $6,190 to $11,290. Each itinerary features one scheduled departure in 2027 and varies in difficulty from moderate to challenging activity levels.
A 7-day moderate trip scheduled to depart April 25, 2027, will travel through the American Southwest. This route includes Sedona's red-rock formations, the Grand Canyon, and Zion National Park, with an optional two-day extension to the hoodoos of Bryce Canyon. This itinerary includes Backcountry Tahoe Sun Hoodies as provided gear.
Other international adventures include a 9-day intermediate trip through western Norway's fjord country, departing July 15, 2027. This route begins in Bergen and moves through the Sognefjord region, involving hiking, glacier travel, and paddling. Travelers will receive Backcountry Peale Insulated Jackets.
An 11-day intermediate trip to Italy's Dolomites is scheduled to depart August 21, 2027. The route travels through high alpine meadows and ridgeline trails between mountain villages, including a visit to the Messner Mountain Museum. Backcountry Waas LT Down Jackets are provided for this trip.
The most demanding itinerary is a 14-day challenging trip to Patagonia, scheduled to depart November 4, 2027. This tour involves hiking across the Chilean and Argentine sides of Patagonia, including Torres del Paine and the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. Backcountry Kanarra Rain Jackets are included in this package.
The EF Adventures x Backcountry Collection includes an expert tour director, accommodations in handpicked hotels, private bus transfers, select meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and select guided sightseeing tours. While land-only packages include Backcountry-provided gear and select attraction tickets, flights, insurance, and trip extensions are available at an additional cost.
