Principal Dr. Sean Edwards released a videocast containing back-to-school information for Centennial Middle School. The message included updates for the 2026–2027 school year, including a welcome to returning 8th grade students and incoming 7th grade students.
According to the school's website, a back-to-school event was scheduled for Monday, August 17, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. as an open house-style event. The first day of school was scheduled for Wednesday, August 19, designated as an A Day.
Student schedules were set to become available in PowerSchool beginning August 12, following the completion of the required Annual PowerSchool Information Update. The school also announced that Liana Mangisi has joined the staff as the new Administrative Assistant.
For families not receiving school emails, the school suggested verifying contact information in PowerSchool and checking email spam settings. Assistance for email issues can be sought from the school registrar, Emma Cervantes.
The school noted that Picture Day was scheduled for Tuesday, September 1. Information regarding Free and Reduced-Price Meals and Fee Waivers is available via the school website and through email.
