EMERY and SANPETE counties, Utah, Aug. 16, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Firefighters from Australia have arrived at the Black Canyon Fire. Two 21-person crews have arrived, a Sunday update says. “These crews have specialized training and come prepared to conduct work in wildland fire,” the U.S. Forest Service-Manti-La Sal National Forest statement says.
