Juab County School District held a public hearing on June 16, 2026, to receive comments regarding the proposed 2026-2027 budget and the final 2025-2026 budget. The meeting took place at the District Office Board Room in Nephi.
During the proceedings, Business Administrator Clark presented the final budget for fiscal year 25-26 and the proposed budget for fiscal year 26/27 to the Board.
The district is considering a tax rate that exceeds the certified rate. This proposal involves an approximate dollar increase of $1,100,000. The additional funds are intended for the expansion, remodeling, and improvements of the Career and Technology Education (CTE) Building located at Juab High School.
The proposed tax rate increase represents an approximate 14.76% increase in ad valorem tax revenue.
The meeting was attended by Linda Hanks, Bart Mills, and Janet Ware, while Brady Blackett and Hollie Holman were absent. Though Holman participated virtually as an observer, no members of the public were in attendance to provide comments during the hearing.
The budget documents for the district are available for review at www.juabsd.org or in person at the Juab School District office.
