Local filmmakers have completed the feature film Left for Dead. Other recent productions include the film Adapt(ive), which focuses on the Ogden Valley Adaptive Riders and aims to challenge mountain biking stereotypes.
In the genre of comedy, Ryan McDonald has released an award-winning horror comedy short titled FrankenCock. Additionally, Brandie Lee McDonald of New Ogden Cinema produced the comedy short Convicts and Chocolate, a parody mashup of Forrest Gump and Con Air. This short, which features local actors and scenes filmed in Ogden, premiered at the Carbon Shortcuts Film Festival in Helper, Utah.
