The Kennedy Center issued an order to its staff on Thursday to remove President Donald Trump's name from the center by June 12.
A memo sent from the center's general counsel instructed employees to eliminate all references to the president's name from various materials, including signs, brochures, websites, and furniture.
In addition to physical items, the directive requires staff to update email signatures and letterhead immediately.
The instructions for removing the name from all center references were communicated via a memo from the general counsel.
