Friday’s tasting was packed, the hot October afternoon an ideal stage for a drink. Attendees poured through the front gates to meet with producers, talk wine and let the wine talk. Julie Minadeo, Southwest Division manager of Brassfield Estate Winery in California, said the crowd was encouraging to see.

One pinned in car during head-on crash on Highway 30 in Box Elder County

According to the Garland Fire Department (GFD), they responded to a motor vehicle crash on Highway 30 near Bear Dam, alongside Fielding Fire/EMS, Utah highway Patrol, and the Box Elder County Sheriff's Office.

Firefighters say overheated power strip caused deadly Riverdale fire
Fire investigators on Tuesday determined the cause of the deadly blaze. The blaze occurred in the early morning of Thursday, Oct. 1, tragically killing a father and three children and injuring a mother and three more children. As of Monday, more than $16,000 had been raised for the Bird family.
