On Thursday, Utah’s Hogle Zoo broke ground on a large new expansion designed to advance care for African Savanna animals. 8 million More Room to Roam project is set to open in Summer 2027, and the zoo said that, in addition to enhancing animal well-being, it will add year-round guest viewing spaces and increase capacity within the outdoor habitat.
