The Millcreek City Council and the Community Reinvestment Agency scheduled meetings for September 28, 2026, at City Hall. The sessions will include a 5:00 p.m. work meeting followed by a 7:00 p.m. regular meeting.
During the scheduled work meeting, the City Council is set to discuss traffic calming with Public Works Director John Miller and review employee pay philosophy with HR-Finance Director Lisa Dudley. The session also includes a closed meeting regarding strategy sessions for pending or reasonably imminent litigation per Utah Code Ann. §52-4-205(c).
The regular meeting agenda includes a public hearing to consider a nonmonetary or service contribution of up to $3,000 to establish the NeighborHelp Property Cleanup Assistance Program. Related items include the consideration of Ordinance 26-68 and Ordinance 26-66, which would establish the program and add Section 9.56.120 to the Millcreek Code of Ordinances.
Other business items include the consideration of Ordinance 26-64 to rezone 1.6 acres of property located at approximately 3496 South 1300 East and 3500 South 1300 East from single-household and two-household zones to different residential classifications. Additionally, the Council will consider Resolution 26-24 regarding an interlocal cooperative agreement with Salt Lake County for streetlight installations on Main Street between 3900 South and 4200 South.
The Community Reinvestment Agency meeting, which will convene after the City Council recess or conclusion, includes a public hearing to consider amending the 2026-27 fiscal year budget. The agency will also discuss Resolution 26-07 to amend the Community Reinvestment Agency Annual Budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026.
