SHHS Band Director HonoredDeon YoudOctober 8, 2026Congratulations to Mr. Ryan Adair, SHHS band director. He was recently named one of Yamaha's 40 Under 40 Music Educators. Mr. Adair has built the Skyhawk bands over the past several years through his own enthusiasm and through collaboration with other schools. He includes many Salem Junior High students in the marching band and leads a combined middle school, junior high, and high school ensemble for an annual special performance. Mr. Adair is also innovative with his approach to music education and provides students opportunities to learn leadership skills as well as non-performance skills like sound engineering. Mr. Adair brings a lively energy to his program and brings out the best in his students. We love you, Mr. Adair. Congratulations!
