The Red Flag Warning remains in effect from noon to 9 PM MDT on Tuesday for Fire Weather Zone 491 in Southeast Utah, as well as several zones in Colorado.

A Fire Weather Watch has also been issued for Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday evening for the same areas.
Forecasted wind and humidity levels
Weather conditions are expected to include southwest winds between 10 to 20 mph, with gusts reaching up to 45 mph. Relative humidity levels are forecast to drop to between 5 and 10 percent.

According to the National Weather Service, these conditions mean fires will catch and spread quickly. Officials advise exercising extreme caution with any outdoor burning.

The Red Flag Warning applies to Southeast Utah Fire Weather Zone 491, along with Colorado zones 207, 290, 292, and 294.
