(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah is bracing for heavy rain, flash flooding and high-elevation snow. Flood watches cover much of central and southern Utah as the storm moves north today, with two to three inches possible in some areas. Slot canyons, normally dry washes and recent burn scars face the greatest flash-flood risk.
