Sandy Bussio has been named the November 2026 Employee of the Month for the City of Provo, according to a November 4 statement. Bussio serves as a manager for the Parking and Zoning divisions within the Development Services Department.
Bussio has provided over 30 years of dedicated service to the city. In addition to her current role, she recently assumed the responsibility of managing another division. Her current division consists of 17 employees, making it the largest division within the Development Services Department.
The announcement highlighted Bussio's leadership in bringing the Parking and Zoning divisions together. She was recognized for her ability to foster collaboration, encourage teamwork, and maintain a supportive environment while navigating organizational change.
The City of Provo recognizes employees through a monthly program. Previous honorees for 2026 include Dave Christensen from Public Works in September and Inga Flint from the Provo Airport in October.
