The Harrisville Fall Festival provided an evening of community activities, including a Trunk-or-Treat and carnival games, according to an October 27 statement from Pioneer Elementary.
Families from the surrounding area participated in games, activities, and food during the event.
The Pioneer PTA provided more than 1,300 free meals during the festival. Pioneer 6th grade students managed the carnival games throughout the evening.
The Harrisville City Youth Council hosted a pumpkin walk, while several Pioneer teachers led a race for the school running club and other participants.
The event's Trunk-or-Treat included support from over 25 local businesses, government employees, and members of the Orion Junior High club. This collaboration provided a safe experience for hundreds of children.
