High school football teams across Utah secured decisive victories on Friday, Sept. 25, as regional playoffs and non-region matchups unfolded. The Richfield Wildcats, Millard Eagles, and Duchesne Eagles all recorded significant wins, while baseball and volleyball contests also saw decisive outcomes in regional play.
Richfield Secures Dominant Victory
Richfield Wildcats Dominates 3A South
In 3A South football play on Friday, Sept. 25, the Richfield Wildcats delivered a commanding 38-7 victory over Cedar City. Cordon White led the Wildcats' offensive surge, throwing one touchdown pass and rushing for two additional scores. Despite the loss, Cedar City's Reds managed a score when Jackson Mann connected with Ryker Janes for an 18-yard touchdown pass.
Wasps and Hawks Win in 3A South
Juab and North Sanpete Success
Also in 3A South action on Friday, Sept. 25, the Juab Wasps secured a 28-14 win against Canyon View. Price Armstrong accounted for much of the Wasps' scoring, contributing one touchdown pass and two scoring runs. The Falcons, led by Owen Williams, saw scoring runs of 18 and 15 yards in the defeat.
In Mt. Pleasant, the North Sanpete Hawks celebrated a successful Homecoming with a 42-14 victory over Carbon. Trevor Mann led the Hawks with three rushing scores. The Carbon Dinos were unable to overcome the deficit despite a touchdown pass and a scoring run from Kayden Dunn.
Eagles and Rabbits Secure Large Wins

In 2A South football on Friday, Sept. 25, the Delta Rabbits defeated South Sevier 58-20. Bronx Hunt and Dayson Meinhardt each recorded two rushing scores to power the Rabbits. The South Sevier Rams saw Rayce Freeman contribute two touchdown passes and one rushing score in the loss.
In 1A North, the Millard Eagles delivered a 51-13 rout of North Sevier in Salina on Friday, Sept. 25. Mason Wardle contributed heavily to the Eagles' victory, recording two scoring catches for 86 yards, two rushing scores, and a 42-yard interception return for a touchdown. Jensen Davies added two rushing scores, while Christian Briceno returned an interception 100 yards for a touchdown. The North Sevier Wolves struggled to keep pace, despite a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Davis Malmgren and a 35-yard touchdown pass from Houston Mickelsen to Stratton Mason.
In Duchesne, the Duchesne Eagles defeated North Sevier 63-14 on Friday, Sept. 25. Brex Robinson threw three touchdown passes, while Kyson Despain contributed five touchdown runs to the victory. The North Sevier Bulldogs fell despite touchdown catches of 73 and 58 yards by Daxton Knudsen.
Kanab and Milford Win Friday Night
Kanab and Eight-Player Results
In 1A South, the Kanab Cowboys shut out Parowan 49-0 at Arlyn Hafen Stadium on Friday, Sept. 25. Grady Anderson recorded two touchdown runs and a 26-yard interception return for a touchdown.
In eight-player football play on Friday, Sept. 25, the Milford Tigers defeated Utah Military Camp Williams 53-18. Braxton Hansen threw three touchdown passes to lead the Tigers. The Utah Military Camp Williams Marauders recorded one score via a 63-yard touchdown pass from James Sullivan to Tyler Muse.

Non-region football matchups on Friday, Sept. 25, included the Beaver Beavers defeating North Summit 30-6 at Washakie Field, powered by two rushing scores from Trey Bradshaw. In Blanding, the San Juan Broncos defeated Manti 61-38, with Beau Yeomans throwing four touchdown passes.
In 1A South baseball on Friday, Sept. 25, the Valley Buffalos defeated Bryce Valley 5-3, with Weston Baird and Payson Harris each driving in two runs. In Bicknell, the Wayne Badgers beat Piute 15-12, highlighted by home runs from RJ Pau’u and Nicolas Ayala.
In Region 20 volleyball, Wayne defeated Water Canyon 3-0.
