Mary Ellen Arguello Wahl, 78, passed away in Las Vegas, Nevada, on August 28, 2026, according to an obituary published by Mitchell Funeral Home, Inc. - Price on September 1, 2026.
Born on December 22, 1947, in Dragerton, Utah, to Abelardo and Maria Arsenia Gallegos, Wahl married Louis Wahl on June 5, 1971, in Las Vegas. Louis Wahl preceded her in death on January 31, 2023.
Wahl is survived by her children, Christopher Wahl, Louis Wahl Jr., Victoria Marie Wahl-Kaboli, Gilbert Wahl, and Marie Leonard. Her survivors also include sisters Viola Torres and Susie Hammond, along with 21 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Scheduled services include a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Mitchell Funeral Home, located at 233 East Main Street, Price, Utah. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church, 210 North Carbon Avenue, Price, Utah.
Interment will take place following the Mass at Mt. View Cemetery in Helper, Utah.
