The South Jordan City Council is scheduled to hold a study meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026, according to a notice published Oct. 2. The meeting is set to begin at 4:30 p.m. and is expected to conclude around 6:15 p.m.
The meeting will be held in person in the City Council Work Room located at 1600 W. Towne Center Drive in South Jordan, Utah. Residents may also participate virtually via Zoom phone and video conferencing, though the City noted that virtual access is not guaranteed and may be limited by technical or connectivity issues.
According to the agenda, the meeting will begin with a welcome, roll call, and introduction by Mayor Dawn R. Ramsey, followed by an invocation by Council Member Patrick Harris. The session will include Mayor and Council coordination and a discussion regarding the regular council meeting.
The scheduled agenda includes a discussion item at 4:45 p.m. involving Representative Kennedy, to be led by City Attorney Ryan Loose.
At 5:30 p.m., the council will move to presentation items. Natalie Aldous, a X-Factor Strategic Communications Specialist, is scheduled to present the UDOT AAM Local Government Toolkit. Following this, Brian Preece, Director or Planning & Economic Development, and Long-Range Planner Joe Moss will provide a presentation on the Unified Development Code.
The City reserves the right to remove individuals or end virtual access if the meeting is disrupted by offensive remarks, statements, or actions.
