The City of West Jordan will begin work to replace an aging sewer pipe along 7800 South from Bangerter Highway to 3725 West.

Traffic Control will be in place to safely move vehicles, pedestrians and bicyclists around the work.

The project will start on Thursday, October 15th and is expected to be near completion by the end of November.

In order to shorten the duration of the project, 24/7 work will be required for the first week. Expect increased noise, dust, and traffic throughout the night during this time.

During the course of the construction residents can expect lane closures and traffic shifts on 7800 South near Bangerter Highway.

Sidewalk closures and signed pedestrian detours, including closures on 7800 South from 3725 West to Bangerter Highway.

Bike lane impacts with signs directing cyclists to use the full travel lane.

Road work signs, channeling devices and reduced work-zone conditions. Plan extra travel time and follow posted signs.

Increased noise and dust due to construction activities.
