Medical Services at Ogden Clinic
According to Weber State University, eligible students may access healthcare services at the Ogden Clinic Professional Center North, located at 4650 Harrison Boulevard in Ogden. This specific location is the only facility authorized for WSU student healthcare services, and students are advised not to visit any other Ogden Clinic location for these specific benefits. To receive services, students must present their W# and Wildcard at their appointments.
The clinic offers a variety of medical services, including care for common illnesses and injuries, select laboratory testing, reproductive healthcare, and physical exams. For students with non-urgent needs, such as preventive care, maintenance of ongoing health conditions like asthma or allergies, or minor injuries, appointments can be scheduled by calling 801-475-3010. The clinic also offers telehealth appointments and maintains operation during summer months and during winter and spring breaks.
Coverage and Appointment Details
Weber State University notes that students will not be charged and insurance will not be billed for specific office visits. These covered services include visits related to allergies, asthma, basic sexual and reproductive health, common skin conditions such as eczema or acne, and sudden illnesses like the flu or strep throat. Physical exams for WSU programs and annual wellness visits are also covered under these terms.
However, students should be aware that some laboratory tests may require off-site processing and are not covered by the university, though they may be covered by private insurance. Additionally, the university notes that Ogden Clinic is unlikely to accommodate last-minute appointments for physicals or wellness visits; students are encouraged to schedule these exams at least one month in advance. If a student receives services that are not eligible for coverage, they remain responsible for the resulting bill from Ogden Clinic.
Vaccination Costs and Insurance
Vaccinations are available to students at Ogden Clinic, with various options provided at a cash-pay discount. Available vaccines include the FluMist and Fluzone influenza vaccines for $40, and the Flublok influenza vaccine for $98. Other options include the HPV vaccine at $325 per dose for a three-dose series, TDAP for $80, and Recombivax for $107 per dose for a three-dose series.
Other available immunizations include Heplisav B at $180 per dose for a two-dose series, Hepatitis A at $100 per dose for a two-dose series, and a Hepatitis A and B combo for $175 per dose for a three-dose series. Meningococcal Conjugate A is available for $198, while Meningococcal Serogroup B is $195. An administration fee of $32 applies to the first vaccine and $18 for each additional vaccine during a visit. While Weber State does not offer a student health insurance plan, the clinic can submit claims on behalf of students with private insurance.

Critical conditions requiring immediate attention include severe difficulty breathing, chest pain, severe abdominal pain, severe bleeding, loss of consciousness, high fever with a stiff neck, confusion, fainting, or severe allergic reactions involving trouble breathing or swelling. The clinic also provides information regarding the Northern Utah Forensic Examination Center, which connects victims of sexual or physical assault with trained nurses for evidence collection and emergency medical care.
Campus Safety and Advocacy
