Rockville is an agrarian community that holds several events each year to seek community unity. All residents are encouraged to participate in these gatherings, where food is often offered at most events.
Upcoming highlights for the community include Rockville Daze on October 11, 2025, which features live music by Mike and Elaine Moulton, a country store with fresh vegetables and home-baked goods, and an opportunity drawing. This event serves to fund other community activities throughout the year.
The community also has several seasonal celebrations planned. On December 6, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., the Rockville Christmas Party will be held at the Community Center. The event will feature entertainment by the Desert Strings Orchestra and a visit from Santa. Attendees are invited to bring a dessert to share.
In December, the Wreaths Across America event is scheduled for December 20, 2025, at the Rockville Cemetery. Following a ceremony at the Springdale Cemetery, the Town of Rockville will begin laying wreaths on the graves of veterans and on the front gate to recognize each service division.
For those interested in community service, the Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) is seeking volunteers to help the village respond to environmental or other possible catastrophes.
Additionally, the Grafton Heritage Partnership Project and the Rockville Historic Preservation Commission hold regular meetings regarding local historical preservation and maintenance projects.
