The radio program Maximum Distortion will conclude its long-running presence on the Wasatch Front after more than 19 years. The show is transitioning from its regular programming to different content on KRCL.
The final episode of Maximum Distortion is set to air on June 26th.
The program has been a part of the KRCL family since 2005. According to hosts Forgach and Cody D, the show has received support and encouragement from listeners, staff, and management throughout its history.
Forgach stated that they will be pursuing an opportunity described as out of this world, with more specific details expected to be revealed during the June 12th episode. In the interim, listeners can tune in to programs such as Thursday Night Psych Out or The Dirty Boulevard during upcoming Radiothons to catch up with Cody D.
The hosts noted that while the last 19 years have been rewarding, there is a possibility that Maximum Distortion may resurface in the future in an undetermined form. Listeners are encouraged to continue supporting community radio station 90.9FM KRCL.
