Salt Lake County Sheriff Rosie Rivera has released the name of a man who died following a lightning strike on Saturday. The victim has been identified as 59-year-old Craig Nelson.
The incident took place in the American Fork Twin Peaks area, located south of Snowbird Resort.
According to Sheriff Rivera, Nelson and his brother had gone to the area when the strike occurred. The death was confirmed following the lightning strike in Salt Lake County.
