Intermountain Health has released several health resources aimed at preparing families for the new school year, including guidance on essential back-to-school health tips for children and strategies to support student wellbeing.
Clinic guidance for school success
In a May 26 update, the Bryce Valley Clinic highlighted specific measures for parents to ensure their children's success and health during the academic year. The clinic also provided resources for families navigating mental health challenges, including advice on how to select therapists for children.
Community mental wellness initiatives
Beyond school-related preparations, Intermountain Health has promoted broader community wellness initiatives. This includes a youth mental wellness event held in Nevada involving the Las Vegas Raiders and The Defensive Line, which focused on mindfulness and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health.
Available clinical and specialized services
Other clinical services available through Intermountain Health locations include family medicine, pediatrics, and specialized care such as dermatology and allergy treatment at the Budge Clinic in Logan.
