The Utah Shakespeare Festival has officially announced its nine productions for the 2027 season. This announcement comes as the festival celebrates its 65th season.
The 2027 season will feature performances at several venues, including the Engelstad Shakespeare Theatre, the Randall L. Jones Theatre, the Eileen and Allen Anes Studio Theatre, and the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Music Center at Southern Utah University.
Scheduled for the Engelstad Shakespeare Theatre are The Crucible by Arthur Miller, Henry V by William Shakespeare, and The Merry Wives of Windsor by William Shakespeare. These productions are slated to run from June through September 2027.
The Randall L. Jones Theatre will host The Drowsy Chaperone, Arsenic and Old Lace, and William Shakespeare’s Land of the Dead. These shows are scheduled to run between June and October 2027.
At the Eileen and Allen Anes Studio Theatre, the festival will present The Two Noble Kinsmen by William Shakespeare and John Fletcher, and Into the Breeches! by George Brant. These productions are scheduled for July through October 2027.
The George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Music Center at Southern Utah University will host All the Devils Are Here: How Shakespeare Invented The Villain, created and performed by Patrick Page and directed by Simon Godwin. This production is scheduled for late July and early August 2027 and includes a talkback following each performance.
