Dante Puleio, the Artistic Director of the Limón Dance Company, was scheduled to lead a residency for Southern Utah University dance majors and minors on September 18, 2026. The residency took place at the Multipurpose Center.
The scheduled programming included classes from 10:00 a.m. to 2:50 p.m., followed by a repertoire class from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Puleio is the sixth Artistic Director in the 75-year history of the Limón Dance Company. His career includes over a decade as a member of the company, as well as performing in musical theatre, television, film, and international productions. He holds an MFA from the University of California, Irvine, and his research focuses on contextualizing mid-20th century dance for contemporary artists and audiences.
