The Park City Police Department conducted a series of traffic stops recently involving suspected turning violations in Old Town. There are restrictions on turns on certain streets on the edges of the Main Street core.

ZION NATIONAL PARK — The Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway remains closed from Canyon Junction to the East Entrance after a large rockfall Wednesday, Sept. The closure means travelers who want to drive between Zion National Park’s south and east entrances will need to take an alternate route.

New Park City Mountain mural promotes youth mental, emotional wellness
A new mural at Park City Mountain honors the legacy of the Live Like Sam Foundation. Local artist and KPCW DJ Anna Nzhonie designed the mural. The 10-foot by 11-foot mural depicts Park City skier Sam Jackenthal against a backdrop of Park City’s mountains.

On Oct. 24, 11 Parkites will take the stage to share their ideas with their community at ToastX, a new event by Park City Toastmasters.
