The man federally charged in relation to a recently found Utah teenager appeared in court on Wednesday. Adam Hunter Harmel, 39, made his first court appearance at the federal courthouse in Boise, Idaho. Harmel is charged with one count of "transportation with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity."
Part of State Route 162 flooded between Aneth and Montezuma Creek. One lane remained open as the Navajo Police Department, Utah Highway Patrol, and San Juan County Sheriff's Ofice monitored the area.
