Salt Lake City aims to permanently cap business water use at 200,000 gallons a day
A temporary cap on water usage by new Salt Lake City businesses could become permanent if the City Council has its way. Earlier this year, to combat drought following one of the worst winters in state history, the Council limited daily water use by new non-residential properties to 200,000 gallons.

Garth Brooks hits Salt Lake City for Delta Center concerts next month
The concerts will be Brooks' first in Utah since he played back-to-back shows at Rice-Eccles Stadium in 2022. Both of the 50,000-seat performances in 2022 sold out in just 45 minutes, one year after his concert at the same stadium became the fastest stadium sellout in Ticketmaster history.
