Utahns adapt to evolving weather as new developments emerge across state

Exactly one year ago, Weber County experienced a 100-year storm in Farr West that flooded basements and closed streets. Rare storms have also hit Orem and, most recently, Sandy. Much of the new development is taking place on land that once served agricultural purposes.
