MORGAN, SUMMIT counties, Aug. 18, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — The Rocky Canyon Fire now stands at 16,646 acres and 85% contained. “Fire managers of the Rocky Canyon Fire remain committed to balancing containment with the responsibility of protecting firefighters from extreme risk,” says a Tuesday update by Utah Fire Info.
