Robert and Bliss Sawyer rode their bikes 3,635 miles from Bellingham, Washington, to Ocean City, New Jersey. The Utah couple camped, stayed in hotels and overnighted with people across the country who open their homes to cyclists. The trip took 87 days, averaging about 48 miles per day and gaining more than 96,000 feet in elevation.

Former northern Utah elementary teacher charged, accused of raping student

Green was the teacher of a victim under the age of 14 between August 2020 and June 2021, police said. The charges say he inappropriately touched a student of his once at his desk and twice at her desk.
