CASTLE DALE – The Southeastern Utah Jr. Livestock Show was held July 8-11, 2026, at the Blue Sage Arena in Castle Dale. The state-sanctioned show was open to all Utah 4-H and FFA exhibitors. Participants came from Carbon and Emery counties, as well as nearly every other county in Utah. All market animals were received and weighed Wednesday.

On Thursday, the Lady Spartan soccer squad welcomed the Millard Eagles to Castle Dale. Still looking for their first win of the season, the Lady Spartans could not keep the Eagles off the board as they were handed a 3-0 loss. Having not lost to Carbon since 2018, Emery extended its ongoing win streak over the Dinos, defeating its cross-county foe 41-14.
