Two former Democrats who served as mayors in Summit and Wasatch counties were ahead in their races for state office on election night, but now trail in the latest results. Preliminary results on Tuesday night showed former Oakley Mayor Zane Woolstenhulme and former Midway Mayor Celeste Johnson, both Democrats, leading over the Republican candidates.
