The Boulder Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a regular meeting on Oct. 20, 2026, at 7 p.m., according to a notice published Oct. 13. The meeting will take place at the Boulder Community Center, located at 351 North 100 East in Boulder, Utah.
The agenda includes several presentations and reports. Commissioner Bach is scheduled to provide a presentation on the process for communications between the Town Council and the Planning Commission, as well as ordinance development. Additionally, Commissioner Bach or Council Member Veranth is scheduled to present on amending an ordinance regarding the replacement of the Board of Adjustment and Administrative Law Judge appeal authority.
Discussions and possible action items for the meeting include reviewing Town Council directives and requests for preliminary feedback regarding upcoming Planning Commission priorities and assignments. This includes feedback on the Town Council-Planning Commission workflow, a draft directive for Chapter 153 Zoning Code revision, and a draft directive for Board of Adjustment replacement with Administrative Law Judge appeal authority.
The commission will also discuss potential joint work sessions between the Town Council and the Planning Committee. One option being considered is a joint session on Nov. 17, 2026, at 6 p.m., which could occur in lieu of the regular Planning Commission meeting or before or after it.
Public input is scheduled for both agenda items and general public comment. Speakers must state their name for the record and will be limited to three minutes per person. During the meeting, the commission is also scheduled to consider the approval of the minutes from the Sept. 15, 2026, regular meeting.
The next scheduled meeting for the Boulder Planning Commission is set for Nov. 17, 2026, at 6 p.m.
