RIVERTON— A student at Riverton High School decided to write thousands of letters to every student at his school, all in an effort to be kind.
Student body president Seth Christensen said he wanted to make a personal effort to connect with his classmates in a meaningful way.
He said some days he would get up at three in the morning just to get started handwriting the letters then deliver whatever he had written that day at school.
“I want people to be able to know that they are loved. I hope that is what they get from those letters, that they are worth the time to have someone write a letter for them,” said Christensen.
In total, Christensen said he wrote 2,336 letters.
In fact, the school's attendance office even helped him hand them out since there were so many. Christensen said it was worth it just to make others feel loved.
